Cheney Opens His Creepy Mouth Again

From msnbc.com:

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - Former Vice President Dick Cheney held back no criticism Thursday of President Barack Obama, strongly questioning the administration's policy in Afghanistan and its approach to combating terrorism.

Too bad he didn’t “question the administration’s policy” when he was the administration. Maybe our troops wouldn’t have been stuck there for 8 years with nothing to show for it. This guy was invisible for his entire term, hiding under a rock or in his dungeon. He didn’t dare open up his big, crooked, creepy mouth. Until now. These days he can’t keep it shut. And the news media is to blame -- for covering every noise he makes. Look, he’s not vice president now. He’s nothing. He’s a private citizen. I don’t want to hear from him anymore than I want to hear from, say, George Bush.

He went on (and on) about a Department of Justice investigation into so-called "enhanced interrogations" used by the CIA and military on detained suspected terrorists.

"I find that absolutely abhorrent," said Cheney. "It bothers the heck out of me that we would go after those people who have been instrumental in preventing further attacks against the United States."

Hmm. Maybe it’s because “those people” acted illegally, and under your authorization, Mr. Cheney.

By the way, for all of you who remember the 60s... Wasn't Benton Harbor the real name of radio character Chickenman? How appropriate, for a guy who loves war but found excuses to avoid it 5 times.
