The next day, Boortz's spokespeople as well as Cox Broadcasting, which syndicates him, back-pedaled and pretended that rant wasn't racist and didn't call for vigilantism and direct violence, namely, shooting people who he thinks look like thugs in the streets.
If a Liberal said something like that, he would have been fired immediately.
